Smoked Cajun Nuts

You’ve probably seen “smokehouse almonds” before, but you actually can smoke all kinds of nuts. This amazing recipe from our friends at Pit Barrel is one of our pitmaster’s favorite snacks. It also makes the perfect gift for friends and neighbors during the holiday season—just be careful, because you might start getting requests for more! (Actually, that’s not really a problem. It just gives you another excuse to fire up the smoker.)

All you need is a pound of raw nuts (any kind, including a mix), a bit of oil, and some seasoning. If you’ve got a favorite, feel free to use that, or make your own—because this great recipe for smoked Cajun nuts includes instructions for that, too!
